my current daily-to-do list.

these have been my daily routine since last two days. but i still wake up late though. *gulp*. the tasks are undeniably simple but such skills are still needed to complete 'em.

and yea, im on diet. am on diet. (starting tomorrow haha). seeing the old photos taken about two years ago (particularly those captured during secondary school) really gave me great heartache. urrggh, i've becoming uglier these days ;( i'll only be having a plate of oat for breakfast and two scoops of rice with veggies for lunch + dinner. no more herbalife. have gotten poorer these days. aihhh~

Let's learn Poetry!

Selamat siang!
.
it's 10.33am and i just woke up from bed. well, when it comes to holidays, i just can't differentiate days and nights. *chuckle*
.
btw, going back to the point, since i rarely go back home, the feeling is somehow slight odd. seeing the furnitures be re-arranged, sometimes i feel like staying at strangers'. so, once im home, i often look around and check things out as if i never saw 'em before. and most crazily, they are actually mine. aigo~ so in a conclusion, as result of my 'penggeledahan' today, i found these old assignments i did during the era of foundation studies a.k.a. matriculation and just got attracted to the one i did for Poetry class back then. owh, i really miss that moments. we often learnt new things from the lecturer; Miss Hanita Hanim and most importantly we were trained to be such creative and critical thinker. her ideas always made me amazed. yes, really.
.
okay, leaving behind those thoughts, im so inspired to recall back things we learnt back then. for the assignment i mentioned just now, the task was to compose about 20 poems with various types. there is a LOT of them. but we just got to learn some which are not hard to be remembered. and i got to learn some more during my first semester at the main camp. here are they and the points below each are the characteristics;
.
.
LIMERICKS
-short
-sometimes bawdy and humorous
-consists of 5 Anapaestic lines
-line 1,2,5 have 7-10 syllables and rhyme with each other
-line 3,4 have 7 syllables and rhyme with each other
.
eg: "I Love You"
.
I'm not supposed to love you
I'm not supposed to think of you
I shouldn't care
Wishing you'll always be there
But I'm sorry cause I'm in love with you
.
.
HAIKU
-3 unrhymed lines of 5,7 and 5 syllables
-reflects on some aspects and creates images
.
eg:. "Women in Islam"
.
Women in Islam
Are like the thorny roses
Risky but precious
.
.
CINQUAIN
-has 5 lines
-line 1 is one word (the title)
-line 2 is two words that describe the title
-line 3 is three words that tell the action
-line 4 is four words that express the feeling
-line 5 is one word that recalls the title
.
eg: "Didie"
.
Didie
My adorable buddy
Talking so calmly
Always amazes me
Diddie
.
.
TANKA
-has 5 lines
-first and third lines composed of 5 syllables
-the rest composed of 7 syllables
.
eg: "My Sweetheart"
.
I love you so much
I need you near by my side
Be close to my heart
Only death does us apart
Miss you so much my sweetheart
.
.
enough for today. in other words, i kinda already got bored. but mind you, not getting bored of these amazing kinds of poem, but to type them in an organize way. i bet u already got bored too. btw, it is noticable that all those examples made by me a year ago were quite 'childish' and aren't 'artistic' at all. well, its because they were composed for the sake of learning. so instead of using bombastic words, they were just meant to at least fulfill the characteristics, or else, we'd get no marks.
.
see ya next time with more lessons.
adios!

Hepy hols, loves!

,
it's been about 20 hours since i arrived home last night. the feeling is so undescribable. seriously. for someone like me, though living not so far away from the campus, mind you, i rarely go back home. the last time i went home was during eid, which was about two months ago. but its not that im kinda hardworking girl whose principal priority is study. its just that if going home would not let me spend all the time with the family, i prefer to just stay at campus. i hate being home while there is a bunch of works to be done. and since the ASEAN Logics Conference is postponed to February 2010, i don't have to go back to campus earlier and surely will be having more time to just be home ;)
.
and yea, will be learning to cook this hols! -just because i am 20 years old and of the awareness that i'll be a wife and mother in about 3 years time-
.
btw, my first day of this semester break has been spent by assisting my parents at school. they had that Quality Day thing this morning. i've been doing this since years ago, mind you. but this time, the experience was much nicer since both my parents are working at the same school and my ayah angkat too ;) it was pleasant to get to talk to him. ayah angkat is actually my best friend a.k.a Along's father. since we used to be so close, i was unofficially accepted as the second daughter of the family. Abah is so inspiring. he lectured me on job markets thigy; supported me to always look for good chances and grab any oppurtinities for the sake of bright future. had so much fun during that 'matured' conversation. already reached 20 after all, aihhhhh~
.
back to the point, unlike previous years, instead of being in charge of price giving, i was with the pre-school kids all the time. and as expected, kids are AMAZING. love 'em all. and the most enjoyable thing was that they all welcomed and accepted me. we got closer in no time. the feeling was damn incredible! i love kids so damn much. there is an american proverb which says;
.
"the heart is healed by being with children"
.
and i seriously believe it! though it was so much tiring but i had so much fun there. they made me recall on things i rarely think of;
.
How will i raise my kids in the future?
How can i make sure they grow up excellently?
What are the right ways to let them excellent in both religious and worldly affairs?
Shall i be strict to them?
How can i encourage and inspire them to always be the best since the very beginning? (unlike me)
Is it okay to teach them 3 languages; Malay, English, Arabic at the same time?
Is the decision to send them to chinese school good?
.
and bla bla bla...
.
owh, i guess i thought too much. like i said, the number has changed to 20, after all. suddenly became mature in no time. eceh~
.
can't wait to finish the degree, btw. about 3 more years to go. the father said that he will financially support me to further study in Master of TESL once i graduate later. heart this so much ;)
.
oh yea, congratulations to those UPSR candidates who passed with flying colors! to those who didn't make it, don't worry, chances are a lot more in the future. and good luck to all SPM-ers!
...
.....
alright then. enough of it. will be updating on my cats' story later.
.
again, have a nice hols, IIUMers! :)
.
see ya next semester. will be missing the adorable BFFs! *hugs*

a sigh of disappointment.

Two weeks have passed.
Apparently there was nothing to be content with.
Up till now, I keep on wondering why.

Oh, life is so complex.

The pain is much more unbearable though.
Nothing is more painful than realizing that you are actually nobody to people who you thought and called ‘good friends’.

Aih, wish I was given options. Wish I could turn back time.
Shouldn't have wanted to be this way in the first place.

Being altruistic is much more tiring than I expected.

Oh what did I do that I deserve this. Never wished to ;(

Now I have to bear it for few more years. and keep pretending like I am living such a heavenly life.

Aihhhh~

the most hateful weeks to go through.

good day, people.
frankly speaking, i do dislike examinations. really. if i have zillion of words to express it, i would have listed each of them.

fine then, call me ridiculous. well, that's me. i hate doing revisions. i prefer learning in class, finishing assignments and showing off during presentations. haha. the besties would surely call me hypocrite for saying this. haha. because i did occassionaly fall asleep in some classes especially ones that i disliked. shall i be more specific? okay, they were Dr Serdar's and Dr Affandi's.

however, no matter how much i hate exams, nothing will change. i won't be graduating if i don't pass all courses, after all.
i surely don't wanna waste my age here though i do love uia that much. *chuckle*

i've just recovered from high fever, btw. 3-day sufferings were enough to kill me. *cough* (but i do prefer suffering from fever than having to cram for good grades like crazy)

already done with Presentation Skills & Critical Thinking exam last saturday. sigh, still can't expect for an A though owning the highest carry mark among classmates.

bla bla bla... *when will you stop babbling, and start revising, little rascal?*

fine. enough for now. it's past 12am and i only have covered a quarter of Grammatical Analysis syllabuses and the exam will take place in about 14 hours from now.

warm hugs for all :)

toodles~

That was irritating enough, assholes.

written at 1.15pm, Oct 21, 2009.
Good day, people.
.
The title is so unlike me. eceh. But who cares, btw. I was, am, and will be seriously annoyed by quite a number of IIUM students, particularly the females.
After Grammatical Analysis class ended at 10am this morning, I planned to go to any IT labs to search on Aristotle’s concept of ethics; as a preparation for Islamic Ethics class at 11am.
.
Plus, I needed to do the re-registration of Mahallah as well as check the final examination slip out (thought that the time for my Presentation Skill & Critical Thinking exam is already out and available online).
.
I reached at IRK lab about 10 minutes later and as usual there was no available PC to be used.
I just stepped out without any disappointment as I saw loads of people were waiting for their turns and most PC users were seriously focusing on their works; typing assignments, etc. Well, never mind then. They were exactly in the same boat as I was.
.
Then I headed to ITD lab, hoping that there’d be any PCs for me. I wanted to use it so badly. As I walked into the lab, again, it wasn’t surprising that there were many students.
.
“Fine, waiting for a while wouldn’t be a big deal”.
.
So I patiently stood at the back of the lab, waiting for anyone to log off. From where I stood, I could see all PC monitors and this was the thing that irritated me SO BAD. Most of PC users were busy with their Facebook. (i guess i'd better put exclamation marks here)
.
Alright let’s have a statistic to make it more interesting. Well I can say about 75% of them were focusing on their farmvilles; planting veggies, feeding cows, watering plants, bla bla and even consistently viewing others’ pictures; giggling on photos of friends’ fellas and leaving comments, yadda yadda yadda. Urgghhh!
.
Well this may be a normal phenomenon as I’ve always heard the buddies babbling about it. But maybe since this is my very first experience that I was really really in need of using PC, I got pissed off so much.
.
Come on guys, don’t you feel embarrassed for using public facility for your own personal yet unnecessary thingies, while there are people around you who are really in need of it for much more beneficial works? Well you might say it’s your RIGHT as you are the one who came earlier and logged in. I won’t deny that it somehow makes sense since everyone has paid for the ITD fees but for me this is more to a matter of consideration for people around you. Do not be selfish. Though everyone paid the fee, but those who really need to do works deserve it more than you do. Bear it in mind, please.
.
In some universities, the access to some websites like Facebook, Friendster, Myspace and even Blogspot has been terminated. Well it may somehow be good, especially in the situation which I’ve just talked about. However as a user of Facebook who as well own a blog and actively joining a community portal, I admit that it would be worse than a natural disaster for not being able to access those websites. And I know most of you would feel the same way too.
.
But please, know your limit. Or most importantly, be aware of your responsibility as human beings. The IT labs are meant to be used by all students and staffs; they don’t belong to any of us. We share them. So please be considerate.
I myself will not access my Facebook and blog, or even visit any unnecessary websites if there are people who seem to need it more than I do. I would be ashamed of myself for being selfish. As I said before, the right to use public facilities belongs to those who do need them more. Do not be that unjust, please.
.
Even in Islam, Allah asks us to pay Zakat to people who need it more than we do, because as we are all living in the same earth, we should share every single thing with each other. You will never be troubled by sharing with others what they lack of.
Like a Russian proverb which says;
.
“The sun will shine into your yard too”.
.
Do be kind people by making things easier for others. You are all grown-ups, after all.
.
“To give a pleasure to a single heart by a single kind act is better than a thousand of head-bowings in prayer” –Saadi, a Muslim poet-

happy birthday to someone who has made a beautiful difference in my life.

a joyful birthday wish dedicated to the one whom i'd never able to live without.

Hjh. Salihah bt. Kamaluddin.
4th October 1960; Kuantan, Pahang.

always believe that i resemble mom more than dad.
i even inherited a mole below my right eye from mom.
(know it doesn't make sense but who cares. hehe)

.

years ago...

*****
Dear mom,
.
I will be a person with pretty heart,
And become a person who is selfless,
I’ll keep the love of my mother’s wishes,
I think of mother who used to share my dreams and brush my hair.
.
Though I’ve made hurtful wrong choices,
You silently watched over me from behind,
But now I think more than an innocent child,
The meaning of mom’s silent prayers.
.
What will i do, yet my heart is small,
Can I do better without holding mother’s hand.
.
I’m afraid that it will still lack,
I’ll be a wise daughter of my mom,
I will be a proud daughter no matter where I go,
I’ll keep the love of my mother’s wishes.
.
I’ll show endless love,
I’ll have a warm heart.
.
I’m shy to express,
That I really love my mom.

Highlights for September.

Good day, people.
finally i have guts to continue writing here.
yosh, despite the fact that i did have loads to write on, i was tooooo busy and most importantly lazy to do so. urgh. got so many things to do before, during and after raye. but thank God, i'm now free from those freakish thingies. all assignments, mid-terms, presentations were done though most of them were not successfully accomplished. *SIGH*
final exam is just around the corner thus i'd like to use that reason not to write more. let these pictures speak on my behalf :D

-
*** eid celebration ***
-
i did have so much fun this time. albeit the baju raye weren't incompleted, and most homeworks were all unfinished or even untouched, we were still enjoying eid to the fullest. i didn't go to any friends'. hope it'd be reasonable enough to put blame on those homeworks and driving license. jeez. thanks a LOT to the good buddies for visiting me. love you, darls. muax~

it was on the 6th Syawal, if i'm not mistaken. the in-law-to-be is from Terengganu. sgt meriah okayy. maybe because it was during raye that there were lots of people coming. thus, albeit having catering service, we almost die preparing and cleaning things up.
wondering when my turn will be. dusts. can you just show up and settle everything up, Mr Right?. haha. miang~

i fell in love again. and then i forgot. again.

what the hell is this post about? bella, don't you have any other 'educated' or even 'civilised' topics to post on? daa~

yea frankly speaking i fell in love again. again, and again. there's nothing wrong with it, after all. just couldn't help myself from this human nature. ecece. life is good, btw.

but it just keeps happening. last month, last week, yesterday, tomorrow, next week.

senangnye kau jatuh cinta wehhhhh.

sesenang itu lah kau lupe cinta.

cinta itu monyet, after all.

that's totally right. it's a freakish fact which i won't ever deny. we easily fall in love.

same thing goes in forgetting it.

well, i happened to fall for this guy, last thursday. believe me, he's damn cute. hmm, too much exaggerate, i guess. coz i was just glimpsing at him. haha. so, he's QUITE cute lah. he posses a pair of smiley eyes like Hongki dongsaeng which is cute enough for me.

till few hours ago, i still dreamt of him.

i was on my way back from wangsa maju with Abil. while taking seat inside LRT wangsa maju, i saw this girl. "hmm, tak kenal. keluar dgn pakwe la tu". i mumbled since i saw a guy besides her. then i looked at the guy. hmm, quite a familiar one. what??? omg.

i texted Abil who sat next to me: "weh ni la bdk yg aku suke tu wehh. dgn gf dia kotttttt".

Abil smiled. did she? no, she laughed at me. urgh.

then dgn tak malu nye i loudly said: owhhh, heartbroken nye! haha.

then i totally forgot.

tetttttt.

tak apa lah,
cinta datang dan pergi kan?
senyum saja sudaa.

;)

happy fasting semua orang! ;)

my most 'precious' experience ever.

some pieces from McLead 2009

good day, everyone.

there's actually a LOT to be told but this one is the most 'interesting' moment i ever had in my lifetime. for God's sake, yeah it is.

before i start telling on that, or even cursing on that, let me begin with reporting my current activities. my previous weekend was spent in Port Dickson, for MRC leadership training (Mclead). to be frank, i was not actually enjoying the whole event. it was, so-so lah. people there were eccentric! haha. tettt. no comment.
and i hibernated for 2 days after that.

what's next? i'll be attending a meeting on behalf of Mdm Norbani tonight at ive-no-idea-where mahallah Sumayyah. it'll be regarding the inter-mahallah cultural week which will be held on October.
because of that, i can't go watching the best friend, Sakinah, performing theatre. owh, it's horrible enough okayy. Do your best, lovey. im always with u!

apart from those, there'll be another leadership training this saturday. but this one is only for the representatives of Mahallah Asiah. am really looking forward to that!

kyahh~ going back to the main highlight, i am so inspired to share this one with you, readers.
i am now working with two WEIRDOS. one is a complete weirdo whom i often refer to as someone from outside this planet.

the climax began about 2 weeks ago, which took place at the library.
there were 3 of us, sitting together to discuss on the research paper.
one thing for sure, i won't ever say that i was guilty. i wasn't. at all.
i won't even say that i am that perfect. i was just trying to be one.
while i was asking question or actually feeding information to one of them, she seemed clueless and then said that she was fed up and even claimed that she is 'panas baran', and all of sudden left us just like that. what the hell?! where's your responsibility, loser??

i seriously was shocked but just remained silent and tried to be calm. then i looked at the other one, and surprisingly she was weeping. again, what the hell?!
she then said sambil teresak-esak: "saye boleh faham perasaan dia..isk..isk..".
i cursed a lot kottt.
but believe me, it wasn't my fault at all.
i was just wondering how come these weirdos bleh exist kat UIA ni?
tak professional langsung!
afraid of losing my humanity, i talked to my mom via phone and due to that i successfully faced everything with complete calm. duh!~

tak habis lagi okay.

when i reached my room, i checked those weirdos' works out. and again, what the hell?!
they were rubbish! yeah, all rubbish!

felt like looking for the rector of IIUM to tell him how surprised i am, getting to know these two weirdos + losers in this garden of knowledge and virtue.

oh yea, forgot about this one.

before the tragic discussion took place, i already had one with one of them.
after abot half an hour, she asked me; "eh, tajuk kite homosexuality ye? ingatkan HOMESEXUALITY.." wtf? ape ingat seks di rumah ye?
confirm awak ni dari planet lain. tett.

now im re-doing everything from the very beginning. tak sanggup nak masukkan RUBBISH dlm my assignment. aiyo~

the lesson is, do make sure that your groupmates are from this planet.
otherwise, you'll tak tido malam mcm saye.

anyway, sangat2 bersyukur all my good friends are normal. u guys memg rock!
jgn fed up dan panas baran please ;D

full stop.

the one-shot chronicle of current life.

first of all, Happy Friendship Day to all!
the picture was intentionally put to show that i am extremely happy with my current exhausting plus hectic life now ;) (ignore those chubby cheeks. this pic was captured 2 weeks before and i've lost 4 kg now.) *giggle*

owh, it has been such a LONG time since i last wrote here.

if i didnt manage to do works in library and got to access internet here, i would never know that i do have a blog which is already full of dusts as well as rotten tempe ;).

since i didnt get free time to update all events separately and am sure i'll never get to have this moment again in the future, so i think it would be good to sum them up in just one-shot post.

i've been getting stuck in lots of things since the very first day of this semester.
while others were meeting the loveys, i was at room, typing the journal entries for ASEAN Logics Conference 2009 a.k.a ALC.

Overall, i can say this is my first experience of being committed to such a LOT of things.

every week, there'll be a departmental meeting of ALC. well i can say that being the staffs of the department of Publication and Documentation is quite tough, since we're working with papers. proofreading, typing, editing, composing, etc, are some of the main tasks for each one of us. there are two people quitted from this department so far. no need to question. that is why i am happy and glad for still being able to work happily for ALC generally, and under this department specifically. (bekerja dengan riang ye, semua orang. hehe.)

next, instead of taking Leadership Management for CCAC subject this semester, i decided to take Presentation Skills and Critical Thinking class. it sounded 'nice' at the first place, but after attending the first class and discovering that there'll be loads of speeches plus presentations to be done, i started to blink and think and blink again. *gulp*. anyway, it is not a big problem for me since i personally love responsibilities plus tasks plus whatever they are called, because from them i learn to value the preciousness of life. Life is all about chances. if i don't grab all those opportunities, i'll surely regret then.

other than these, my first class of Halaqah had taken place yesterday. belive me, they were really2 fantastic! lovin' it ;). they were nice and seemed to happily accept me as their facilitator. Alhamdulillah, everything went well as it was supposed to. dearies, im so glad to know all of you and hoping to have such an amazing moments with u!

not only that, i've just been appointed to be the member of Mahallah Representative Club (MRC) for this session. Thank God i passed the tough interview with the respective Principal ;). so for that, i'll be attending a 3-days training at Port Dickson next week. happily looking forward to it. *grin* and im currently working for the Inter-Mahallah Cultural and Debate week. (promote skit. tett.) well, though i didnt get the bureau i wished to, i am satisfied enough with the position i received. Culture and Art isn't that bad. Plus, the fellow in charge for my bureau is seriously amazing. love knowing u, Mdm Norbani! ;)
not to be forgotten is the Karate class which i've decided to join since last year. Alhamdulillah though having lots of things to do, i still manage to attend the training every Sunday morning. credit to Salwan for being supportive! ;)
apart from these extra activities, i am still facing same obstacles as other students. FYI, i managed to take 3 IRK subjects; Fiqh, Sciences of Hadith and Islamic Ethics, and only 2 core subjects; Grammatical Analysis and History of the English Language, to have such a so-called good CGPA. because i used to think that those religious-based subjects would help, i was extremely shocked when getting to know that all lecturers for those subjects were 'only-God-knows' how. don't wanna talk about them here. but the point is that i am actually putting myself in such a challenging ang tough classes. O Allah, im hoping to obtain strength for the whole semester. Ameen.
for now, im having 3 term papers to be submitted on the same time and many other tasks to be completed in quick.
however, i still have some dates to go with the loveys; lunch with Lynda and Sarah at Egg House this coming Monday, as well as movie time with Abil at klcc this Wednesday. ahh, can't wait to watch Sandra Bullock in 'Proposal'. still planning to meet a good friend on next two week. (hoping to give good news to u, hanafi. hehe.) and yea, i had spent such a fantastic eve with the good friends; Ziera, Nana and Dedo at Pavilion yesterday. Muffin and Nadea didnt manage to come along. it was hell, seronok! so many dramatic things happened, even from the very beginning. do the task of narrating those events, Ziera ;). penat sudahhhh. huhu.
btw, frankly speaking that though i am happily living my current life, i still have some problems, or i can say, unexpected plus unwanted happenings. currently having problems in dealing with some groupmates, but Mak and Ayah had helped in maintaining my humanity. thanks a lot to thos VVIPs. im not in the mood of telling what is actually happening among us. i just can't stand with some people, who are not professional in doing works. people say im a perfectionist and i don't think there's something wrong with it. i do know that i am. i am too systematic and organized because i hate to have such petty problems in the future. i plan a lot because im too afraid of failing to accomplish all those tasks, and afraid of this word; REGRET.
not only that, another jerk who exists in this world had pissed me off lately. get a life, LOSER! daaa!~
kyahhh~ (stratching...) enough for now or i'll start posting on IIUM library as a super giant refrigerator.
wishing to have chance to update more later.
for now, let's start working with GUSTO!
love, love, and love from me ;)
