burning the midnight oil.
It's 5.13 am and I haven't switched off the light yet. the room mate already wakes up. she wakes up early everyday to perform Sunat prayer and I'm still awake doing something not related to religious duties. kalau ayah tahu ni mesti kena lecture setengah jam like he always did when I was at high school heh.
eh no no. not studying Arabic instead huhu. I'm just fulfilling the KPI of MRC. this is the third one i prepared but will be the first one to take place for REAL. I've done two proposals before but both of them were not approved due to some technical problems and time constraint, apart from my tiredness in handling two big University events (Sports Carnival and IMCDW) without much helps. so this is it; my very first Mahallah program :)
*I'm in dilemma whether to continue my position in MRC or not. if I do, I'll be promoted to the mainboard. the heart says NO, because my pointer has dropped. the desire says YES, because it prepares me to do well in the future and gives me good experiences and memories to keep! need to ask my parents and sisters as well. need to make a right decision now so that bad things won't happen again. na'uzubillah, o Allah, keep me away from that. need to list up the pros and cons. okay. will do. praying...*
I'm not a bad person.
(this is not a self-compliment)
and her total silence.

May 11, 2010.
because the food was yummy,
and because of him,Prof. Madya Dr. Asyraf Wajdi Dasuki Dato' Haji Dasuki is currently the Head of Research Affairs, International Shariah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA). some interesting facts (for me) about him are that he graduated from IIUM years ago and was once an Assistant Professor at the KENMS. oh yea, he is a politician too. i love his speech. to be honest, his was the only one i really2 listened to during that conference. i just couldn't take my eyes off him. the impromptu speech was inspiring, excellent, superb, and most importantly islamic. he was touching on the 'Integriti Pemimpin Mahasiswa: Merealisasi Harapan 1Malaysia Berintegriti'. mula2 dengar topik dah geleng2 kepala but he made it soo interesting with those Islamic aspects he included plus Quranic verses and Prophet's Ahadith he quoted in his speech. it was hilarious that i and kak wana kept guessing which Kuliyyah he was from. but yeah, his way of speaking (inclusion of religious terms) always fascinated me. way to go! bla bla bla... briefly, he did inspire me a lot. kudos to Dr. Asyraf :) glad that i've met another great person, and wish that someday, i can be like him. *praying*
maka sekarang should continue cramming for Arabic test tomorrow night. mesti dapatkan A!
to all, Bittaufiq Wannajah :)
p/s: in conjuction with Hari Belia Negara, there'll be a Karnival Kerjaya & Keusahawanan Graduan 2010 at PWTC, starting tomorrow, 14th until 16th of May.
