'Eid Mubarak' to all and 'oh please be happy' to me.

It's 1st Syawal and I don't have much reasons to explain why I shall be happy. There are so many things happening, directly and indirectly to me. They are just too much to bear.

First of all, this is about a BFF of mine; the one I've known for about 9 years. The fact is that she's the first one I ever considered as a best friend of mine. We used to be SO close. and I can say that the day she went abroad about 3 years ago was one of the saddest moments in my life. and for God's sake, that was not even the last day I had her in my arms. We used to share almost everything with each other; boyfriends, study stuffs, dreams, future, family, and that even included wedding. We had promised to each other that we got an important role to play on each other's wedding. But here's the fact that I've been trying to digest, which is obviously unsuccessful; my BFF is getting married in two days time and she's miles away from me. I haven't met her for like 3 years time and now she'll be having her most important day, without me. But mind you, it's not about those childish promise thingy. It's just that I wish we could be together on our important days. You would have no idea how much I miss and love her. Well now let me just pray that she'll be with me when my day comes. I love you so much, Along. I'm sorry that I've been avoiding and denying your texts, msgs. It just hurts me so bad. but I'll always pray for the best of you. BOTH of you. I'll wait for you to come back here. and when the day comes, I promise I'll be among the first faces you'll see.

The next one is about my current bestie. My dear Nuratiqah Hussaini, I'd like to apologize for EVERY single thing happened between us. it might be about you, or me. or just me. Whatever it was, I'm sorry and let's just start all over again. I've read whatever you wrote about me on your blog and trust me, it was touching enough to make me cry. I LOVE YOU too. and that's all you need to know, too. We've been sharing a lot of things, we've been going through so many things too. I thank you for being understanding and one thing I want you to know is that you're much better than some best friends I used to have before. Well, at least I can't just deny the fact that you were with me when I was having my hard time, which is when my love relationship officially ended. so let bygones be bygones. I'm so happy for having you and Ika in my room. I mean, OUR room. I thank Allah for granting me with these wonderful people. love you both. xoxo.

The last thing I am actually not intending to write about is regarding my so-called love thingy. but no, it's not about my ex. No, hell no. if it's all about the ex-boyfriend, honestly I got nothing to talk on. he's my past. and will forever remain as my past. Here's about a guy which I'd prefer to describe him as my crush. to cut it short, I am silly for still keeping an undefinable feeling towards him. dear ME, please just forget him especially when he's just got a new wonderful addition in his life. and dear YOU, do appreciate what you're having now. you'll never know how meaningful they are until you lose them. enough said.

I wish everyone would have a blast Eid. and please pray for mine, too.

love from me,

hey peeps. Salam Ramadhan. it's August 19 and the 9th day of Ramadhan. yeay! 19 more days to go before I can fill my stomach with various of kueh raye :)

well it's been a longggg time since I last published a post. (I found this written at most of my posts) In brief, there were so many things happened thus so many things to talk about. but since it's Ramadhan, a hectic one, instead of writing up all those things, I'd just let the pictures do the talking on behalf of me.

let me start with my trip to Genting with the room mate. due to some unavoidable, lame excuses, the date is recommended to be kept secret. it was just two of us. well, no pity is allowed. because apart of some unexpected yet unexplainable accidents, we did enjoy ourselves back then. proofs are on the happy faces!

stairway to hell.

the one that left a permanent memory in my mind.

one hour before reaching Genting.

the faces of anticipating a great day.

now let's move to Lynda's birthday celebration which took place two days after the trip to Genting. it was held at Taman Tasik Titiwangsa (if i'm not mistaken). there were 8 of us, including the 21-year-old birthday girl. the best friend is turning old but I haven't seen her acts her age yet. haha :D

muka terharu lah konon. cry baby, cry!

despite of the facts that we're not always together, I still love you.
(tolong lah rase terharu, Lynda!)

the girls. always wanted to look taller. oh, please.

we had a nice day together, didn't we?

oh, I did eat a lot too. thanks.

after a few weeks, the anniversary celebration of Asiah began. to be specific, the event was named "the Metamorphosis of Asiah". there were various types of programs, and Traditional Games Competition and Cake Decorating Contest were under my supervision. being a program manager was not as simple as it sounds. all tasks were on me. it was hectic but for God's sake it was a priceless experience of mine. (since I've quit being a MRC)

this was when I participated in Kak Mun's 'making ketupat competition'.
I didn't win (of course).

these are the 1st runner up winners for Cake Decorating Contest.
the decoration wasn't that pretty (I'd die if Sakinah reads this) but, it's cool to have that ASIAH and butterfly thingy. haha.

this was taken during the Traditional Games Competition.

with the nice assistant :)

lame body posture. guess the banner looks way more attractive.

Next is my second visit to the-so-called-boring i-City. well some people may find it a wonderful place to go to. I'll say it so someday, after some improvements being done.

the lovey-dovey couple.

see, we just enjoyed taking pictures of ours. not the lights.

okay, pointless one.

Fatin was demonstrating a way to get a flat tummy in no time.

another pointless photo.

this was taken just because the lights made us look brighter.

'Salt' at Jusco Bukit Raja.

the people that made my day :)

okay this one was irritating.

these following photos were taken during my trip to Kuantan. after spending a whole day at the grandparents', I had fun at some so-called beautiful places to visit there. It's pleased to meet some friends at Mini Zoo Taman Teruntum!

meet my Banteng :)

no-need-to-explain one.

just loved this one; Ungka Tangan Putih.

hey, there are our kites!

introducing Pantai Telok Cempedak.

enough posted. happy fasting, everyone!

when I'm home.

during semester break, I always prefer to just be home. and when I'm home, I do a lot of unnecessary things like whatever-it-is-in-english selongkar2 barang. I found a photo album of the old pictures and these are some of them which I can't take my eyes off of.

taken in 1991 and 1995.

between the eldest and the second.

tiny me.

Museum of Sabah. we used to stay there for few years.

the eldest and the hero.

form 3 Baroqah, 2004.
(third row, no. 4 from right)
one thing I remember the most is that my weight at that time nearly reached 70.
(and if I keep gaining kilos, I'll look like this again in no time)

form 4 Sains II, 2005.
(second row, no. 3 from right)

spot the obvious difference. my weight at this time was 55kg.

and here is the best friend ever.
captured in 2007.
can't wait to have her by my side back in one year time!

love!

see you again, short semester.

short semester has just ended. many things have ended too. and there's only word to describe my feeling- glad.

I'm glad that I've taken Arabic level 3.

I'm glad for the new friendship with such nice room mates. (can't believe I'm missing u, cik At!)

I'm glad that my eldest sister's wedding went just fine.

I'm glad that all MRC works have been completed.

I'm glad for everything happened during this period of time. Alhamdulillah.

and I'm glad to be home, again.

the coming semester will be quite tough so I'll be spending most time here to rest, and rest. and to meet the former schoolmates too! :) am really2 looking forward to that.

and, to be on diet, again. with Herbalife :)

random.

.
when we are single,
it does not mean nobody wants us,
.
.
when we have a boyfriend or girlfriend,
it does not mean they will be our life time partner.
.
.
and when we break a relationship,
it will never be the end of our love life.
.
.
For God knows better,
better than what we really really know :)

burning the midnight oil.

It's 5.13 am and I haven't switched off the light yet. the room mate already wakes up. she wakes up early everyday to perform Sunat prayer and I'm still awake doing something not related to religious duties. kalau ayah tahu ni mesti kena lecture setengah jam like he always did when I was at high school heh.

eh no no. not studying Arabic instead huhu. I'm just fulfilling the KPI of MRC. this is the third one i prepared but will be the first one to take place for REAL. I've done two proposals before but both of them were not approved due to some technical problems and time constraint, apart from my tiredness in handling two big University events (Sports Carnival and IMCDW) without much helps. so this is it; my very first Mahallah program :)

since it hasn't be submitted to the Principal yet, it's better to keep the event a secret. private and confidential haha. but since I'm in charge of Culture and Arts bureau, any programs under me would be the fun and joyous ones only.
.
anyway, this program is in conjuction with a BIG event of Mahallah Asiah on this coming July. for god's sake, we've been discussing on it even before second semester ended months ago. the event will be held insyaAllah in a week time, with lots of programs in it including those managed by me.
.
ha this is what I like being a MRC. I get to be a program manager. kalau tak guys je yg selalu hold the position. sebelum2 ni pun I always be their assistant.
.
I'll be managing two programs. (tapi proposal baru 1 completed) it's totally hard for me when my fellow in charge is far far away from me. she's in a long vacation with her family at the States. but Alhamdulillah everything goes well so far. wish it will be a blast one later!
~~~
*I'm in dilemma whether to continue my position in MRC or not. if I do, I'll be promoted to the mainboard. the heart says NO, because my pointer has dropped. the desire says YES, because it prepares me to do well in the future and gives me good experiences and memories to keep! need to ask my parents and sisters as well. need to make a right decision now so that bad things won't happen again. na'uzubillah, o Allah, keep me away from that. need to list up the pros and cons. okay. will do. praying...*
I'm not a bad person.
(this is not a self-compliment)
dear you,
you've known me for years.
I'm not a bad person.
I don't hold any grudges against anybody.
I just need more time to think.
and to be strong again.
so many things happened to me lately.
I just couldn't focus on anything else but those troubled things.
don't call me an egoist,
cause I'm not.
I'm just a weak, secretive person who hides all pains in her smiles.
and her total silence.
when the time comes,
I'll take the first step and bridge the gap.
I'm not a bad person.
and so are you.
*you know who you are*
May 11, 2010.
unlike usual my day began way earlier. 6.45am- i was standing in front of Asiah's office, waiting for another two MRCs. half asleep. thanks for the bus driver for giving us a lift to the main staircase. 7.05am- the three of us were already late but jeez, excluding us only four people were there. thought we had missed the bus but surprisingly we were among the first ones. bla bla bla we arrived at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre around 9am or in other words, 1 hour late. the convention had already started and for god's sake by the time we entered the hall and were looking for seats, all of sudden we became the subject of the speaker. if i'm not mistaken he said something like 'pemimpin mesti selalu menepati masa. bukan datang sejam lewat'. sangat malu okayyy.
.
it was Kongres Integriti Pemimpin Mahasiswa 2010
.
with a slogan "1Malaysia Berintegriti: Mahasiswa Melestari".
.
the participants were all MPPs of IPT and IPTS from all over Malaysia.
overall, though it was a bit boring but i kinda liked it. to be honest i couldn't really understand most of the speeches because the speakers were all speaking the advanced Malay language. well, you can't expect me to understand such so-called-bombastic words like 'melestari', 'mencanai', 'menggarap', etc. duh. perlu belajar lagi bahasa ibunda. bahasa melayu saya tak hebat. sebab tu tak pernah join debat melayu.
.
apart from those hard-to-grasp speeches i still enjoyed the convention because i do love participating in such prestigious events,
because the food was yummy,
and because of him,
Prof. Madya Dr. Asyraf Wajdi Dasuki Dato' Haji Dasuki is currently the Head of Research Affairs, International Shariah Research Academy for Islamic Finance (ISRA). some interesting facts (for me) about him are that he graduated from IIUM years ago and was once an Assistant Professor at the KENMS. oh yea, he is a politician too. i love his speech. to be honest, his was the only one i really2 listened to during that conference. i just couldn't take my eyes off him. the impromptu speech was inspiring, excellent, superb, and most importantly islamic. he was touching on the 'Integriti Pemimpin Mahasiswa: Merealisasi Harapan 1Malaysia Berintegriti'. mula2 dengar topik dah geleng2 kepala but he made it soo interesting with those Islamic aspects he included plus Quranic verses and Prophet's Ahadith he quoted in his speech. it was hilarious that i and kak wana kept guessing which Kuliyyah he was from. but yeah, his way of speaking (inclusion of religious terms) always fascinated me. way to go! bla bla bla... briefly, he did inspire me a lot. kudos to Dr. Asyraf :) glad that i've met another great person, and wish that someday, i can be like him. *praying*
maka sekarang should continue cramming for Arabic test tomorrow night. mesti dapatkan A!
to all, Bittaufiq Wannajah :)
p/s: in conjuction with Hari Belia Negara, there'll be a Karnival Kerjaya & Keusahawanan Graduan 2010 at PWTC, starting tomorrow, 14th until 16th of May.
